I will miss Aunty Edie very much. She was an ever-present in my close family life since I was born, and I always looked forward to her and Uncle Ab's visiting on Saturdays, as I invariably had some fun engineering project on the go with Uncle Ab and there was usually cake involved. In later years, her love and care towards me, Saira and the children was unwavering, with gifts and cards and hugs and money for the kids and kind words never far away. She leaves a huge hole in all our lives.
